Return of Capital
VOF is the only Vietnam-focused fund listed on the London Stock Exchange to provide income for shareholders via dividend payment. The fund normally declares dividend payment in March and October.
The company may also distribute capital by means of share buybacks when the Board believes that it is in the best interests of shareholders to do so. The share buyback programme has been in place since 2011 and is subject to shareholder approval at each annual general meeting.
Return of Capital
VOF declared it’s first dividend in 2017 and has been consistently declaring dividends ever since. The company aims to provide a 2% annual dividend yield on net asset value, paid twice per year.
